Hyderabad:Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed officials to identify the missing 45 acres of land in Survey No 325 of Erravalli village in Markook mandal of Siddipet district. Revenue officials in-formed the Chief Minister that their survey had identified only 343 acres out of 388 acres recorded in the survey number, leaving 45 acres unaccounted for.
The Chief Minister reviewed the land issue relating to Erravalli and neighbouring Venkatapuram villages and sought details from officials regarding the status of the survey and revenue records. Following the review, officials were directed to conduct a comprehensive survey of Survey No. 325 to establish the location and status of the missing land. A survey notification has been issued covering Erravalli and neighbouring Venkatapuram to facilitate the identification of the land.
Officials have also been instructed to issue notices to former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members, whose lands border the area, seeking submission of their relevant revenue records.
The Chief Minister directed officials to take steps to distribute the land in Survey No. 325 among eligible local farmers after completing the survey and verification of records.
Revanth Reddy also ordered the construction of a ‘Telangana Martyrs’ Colony’ for the families of those who sacrificed their lives during the Telangana movement. He directed officials to allocate housing plots to the martyrs’ families and develop the colony with all necessary infrastructure and amenities.
The Chief Minister suggested that the responsibility for constructing the colony be entrusted to the Housing Department and instructed officials to complete the project by June 2. Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the survey details and the availability of land in Erravalli and Venka-tapuram villages. The government is expected to take further steps after completion of the survey and verification of the revenue records.
