Union Minister for state home affairs G Kishan Reddy on Sunday lashed out at the TRS party over unfulfilled promises made to the people. He said that the TRS government failed to give away the double bedroom houses for the people in IDH colony at Sanathnagar.

Speaking to media at Press Club, Reddy said that people should question the ruling party for not fulfilling the promises made to them during the last elections. He also wondered why the government has not kept it word of developing Old City as Istanbul and Hyderabad as Dallas.

He also asked the government as to what had happened to the promise of giving away Rs 1000 for showcasing potholes on the city roads. "The government is claiming of developing Hyderabad with Rs 67,000 crores but why the roads have not been repaired until now," he added.

The minister continued to say that the government has even failed to provide basic amenities to the people. He also blamed TRS for turning the city into a river during heavy rains in Hyderabad which claimed 40 lives.
