Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud praised RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, describing him as a twin brother of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and expressing hope that their friendship would continue for the benefit of the country.
Addressing Tejashwi Yadav as Tejashwi Bhai, Mahesh Kumar Goud said he could see Rahul Gandhi in Tejashwi’s face and described the two leaders as having a close bond.
While participating Sadar programme at NTR Stadium on Wednesday, TPCC chief said the friendship between Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav had remained strong over the years and prayed that it would continue forever. The country needed such friendship and political camaraderie, particularly in the present political climate, he observed.
Drawing a parallel with Telangana, where young leader Revanth Reddy became Chief Minister, Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed hope that Bihar would also have a young Chief Minister like Tejashwi Yadav. He wished that God would bless Tejashwi with an opportunity to lead the State.
