Uppal: An awareness programme on mosquito prevention and seasonal fevers was held at Mekala Bharathi Function Hall on Wednesday. MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy was the chief guest. He directed people to keep their surroundings clean.
He directed officials concerned to sensitise people on cleanliness and to take necessary steps to prevent mosquito breeding due to water stagnation. Habsiguda Corporator Bethi Swapna Reddy, Uppal PO Rama Devi, residents of various colonies took part.
