Officials told to take up anti-mosquito measures

Tandur: The District Collector, Ayesha Masrat Khanam directed the officials to take steps to prevent fevers like dengue and malaria. She conducted a meeting with local officials, here at RDO office on Thursday.

The Collector asked the officials to clear the pits where water is stagnated. She told them to prevent mushrooming of mosquitoes, which were the main cause for spreading diseases. She also directed the officials to take steps to protect the trees planted during Haritha Haram. Tahsildar Dasharath, municipal town planning officer Irshad, sanitation officials were also present.
