Provide all amenities for Ramzan: Dana
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner M Dana Kishore instructed the officials concerned to expedite the planned works such as land acquisition as part of development activities within the targeted time.
Charminar: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner M Dana Kishore instructed the officials concerned to expedite the planned works such as land acquisition as part of development activities within the targeted time. With holy month of Ramzan to start in the first week of May, he asked the officials to ensure all arrangements were made in the Old City.
Dana Kishore, who inspected various development works, including Charminar Pedestrian Project (CPP), the works of which are taken up under SRDP (Strategic Road Development Programme), also instructed the officials to ensure that name boards of outlets at Laad Bazaar appear uniform and depicted Deccani style.
He was accompanied by Additional Commissioner and Director, CPP, Md Musharraf Ali Faruqui, Zonal Commissioner (GHMC – South) B Srinivas Reddy and other officials.
Later the Commissioner also inspected the works related to flyover at Bahadurpura, Owaisi Junction, Chandrayangutta which are being taken up as part of SRDP. Earlier, he inspected the Pedestrian Project works from Gulzar Houz to Charminar and also walked towards Mecca Masjid and Lad Bazaar till Old Pension Office.
He reviewed the arrangements being made for Ramzan with the officials of GHMC and HMWSSB for ensuring provision of drinking water and sanitation. He asked the officials to erect temporary sheds for providing shelter for the devout during the month of Ramzan at Mecca Masjid.
