Devotees performed 'Archanas', 'Abishekams' and special pujas at Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Temple and performed 'Siddhi Vinayaka Kalyanam' and 'Ganapathi Homam'. After performing 'Abishekam' with 'Panchamrutam', Tulasidalalu' to the deity, they lit lamps with 365 wicks, seeking blessings from almighty for a happy and prosperous life to their kith and kin. They also offered puja to 'Gomatha'.

The temple committee made all arrangements so as not to cause any inconvenience to people. At Marredpally Vinayak temple, a large number of women participated in special programmes organised by the temple committee.

Among the programmes was lighting of Karthika lamps. In Subramanya Swamy Temple, the devotees from various areas performed special 'Abishekams', 'Rudra Homam', 'Rudrabishekam' and 'Maha Mrutyunjaya Homam'.
