Speed up capping of dump yard: Dana Kishore
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner M Dana Kishore has instructed the officials to speed up the Jawaharnagar dump yard capping works and finish them in the stipulated time.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner M Dana Kishore has instructed the officials to speed up the Jawaharnagar dump yard capping works and finish them in the stipulated time.
The Commissioner held a review meeting over the Jawaharnagar dump yard capping works and waste recycling plant and other works on Thursday evening. Additional Commissioner Shruti Ojha, S E Koteshwar Rao and other officials were present at the meeting.
Speaking in the meeting, Dana Kishore said that biggest dump yard capping works have been taken up at Jawaharnagar dump yard and he instructed the officials to complete the work soon. Officials informed commissioner that work has been running in slow pace due to the rain, so we have assigned around 300 workers for the capping work, they said.
Officials said that the plant, which is set up to treat waste water emanating from the dump yard, will start working in two days.Commissioner said that waste recycling plant which has constructed in Jedimetla is ready now and instructed the officials to open it on August 15 onward.
