Hyderabad: Telangana Board of Intermediate Education Secretary Abhilasha Abhinav chaired a review meeting with District Intermediate Education Officers and Government Junior College Principals on Wednesday. The conference focused on elevating academic standards, streamlining administrative workflows, accelerating outreach, and upgrading infrastructure across state institutions. Abhinav evaluated core academic metrics, student attendance, and enrollment trends. She introduced an updated syllabus alongside revised practical examinations for first-year students, emphasizing strict adherence to the 2026–27 validation rules and Faculty Development Programmes.

Inspecting campus facilities, the Secretary directed the immediate installation of Reverse Osmosis drinking water plants in all government colleges, with structural renovations managed through the Telangana Education and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation. On innovation, officials reviewed progress on the ongoing 15-day Telangana Innovation Hackathon, designed to foster research and practical problem-solving among intermediate students.
