Bahadurpura: Three employees of Nehru Zoological Park retired on Sunday. Higher officials lauded their services during their tenure and felt that they stood as an example of discipline serving at the animal abode.

K Venkataiah, Zoo Sergeant, K Kistaiah, Watchman and Jangaiah, Mali retired on Sunday (on superannuation) after putting in 34 years of service in Forest Department of the zoo. N Kshitija, curator, Zoo felicitated the retiring staff with garlands, shawls and mementos. Speaking on occasion Kshitija, said that during their tenure major events like Golden Jubilee Celebration was successfully organized and recollected that duty performed by all the three of them was remarkable.

Several speakers recollected the punctuality and discipline which they brought out in performance of their duties. It was expressed by several speakers that the services of K Venkataiah, K Kistaiah, and Jangaiah, to the Zoo can never be forgotten.

Assistant Director (Veterinary), Dr Shambhulingam, Assistant Curators, Bhavani Shanker, Satish Babu, Deputy Range Officers, Bhooma Laxmi Devi Kunwar, Saroja, Superintendent Annamani and others were present.
