Patancheru: CITU district general secretary K Rajayya on Tuesday accused both the Central and the State governments of 'totally' failing to solve the problems of the Anganwadi employees.
Addressing the participants in a dharna in front of local ICDS project office, the CITU leader demanded that the State government immediately pay the increased wages effected by the Centre to the employees. He expressed anguish over the government treating the Anganwadi staff as bonded labour.
Rajayya warned of launching an agitation if the State government failed to solve the problems of the Anganwadi employees. Among the participants in the dharna were district CITU vice-president Nageswara Rao, leaders Khaja, Jamuna, Santosh.
