RTC Crossroads: The TSRTC joint action committee met at Bus Bhavan here on Sunday and found fault with the RTC management for its indifference to addressing the issues raised by different employee unions.

The leaders urged employees to be ready for indefinite strike as all means to convince the state government and RTC management failed. They had announced to go on indefinite strike from October 5. The JAC leaders demanded that the state government merge RTC with the government and take necessary measures to protect the corporation.

To prevent the employees from going on strike, the Labour Commission should call JAC for discussions or the government would be held responsible for the woes that public may undergo due to the upcoming Dasara festival, they cautioned. JAC convener E Ashwadhama Reddy, co-conveners KV Reddy, VS Rao, Vasudeva Rao and others participated in the meeting.
