Nellore: With an aim to secure a thumping victory in the upcoming municipal elections, senior politician and Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy conducted a key meeting with NDA coalition party leaders of the Atmakur constituency at his residence in Nellore on Sunday.
During the session, the Minister gathered feedback from local leaders to outline an effective election strategy and strengthen the coalition’s ground-level campaign across municipal, ZPTC, MPTC, and panchayat elections.
According to sources, discussions covered the political situation in each ward, candidate selection, cadre coordination, and effectively taking the coalition government’s development and welfare programmes to the public.
The meeting resolved that leaders and workers from the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP must work in complete coordination to consolidate the alliance’s presence in every ward.
Participants also formulated customized strategies matching local political conditions and ensured leadership participation at all levels.
Furthermore, it was decided to strictly adhere to alliance principles in accordance with state-level leadership directives. Sources noted that BJP and JSP leaders raised specific queries regarding their seat-sharing arrangements for the municipal elections.
