Vijayawada: Finolex Cables Limited, a leading manufacturer of electrical and communication cables, is expanding its presence in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, targeting 40–50 per cent growth in Andhra Pradesh this year.

The company recorded revenues of over Rs 300 crore from Andhra Pradesh last year and is strengthening its distribution network through new products, expanded warehousing and increased focus on emerging sectors such as data centres, solar energy and digital infrastructure.

The Southern region contributes around 35 per cent of Finolex Cables’ overall turnover. The company recorded a turnover of about Rs 6,300 crore in FY25, including nearly Rs 2,300 crore from the Southern market. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together account for around 26 per cent of the company’s southern revenues.

As part of its expansion, the company recently inaugurated a 20,000 sq ft warehouse in Andhra Pradesh, replacing its earlier 6,000 sq ft facility. The technology-enabled facility uses QR-code-based scanning to improve inventory management, order fulfilment and delivery efficiency.

The company launched Fortiva CAT 6 LAN Cable and NexClear CAT 6 Surveillance Cable in Vijayawada on Wednesday. The products offer price advantages of nearly 50 per cent and 70 per cent respectively, while meeting industry standards, RoHS compliance and supporting speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps. A new Fire Alarm Cable was also introduced.

Amit Mathur, President–Sales & Marketing, said the company expected strong growth from data centres, renewable energy, digital connectivity and major infrastructure projects.

Finolex Cables has over 200 channel partners in Andhra Pradesh and around 500 across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, supported by more than 30,000 retailers.
