Vijayawada: State Bank of India (SBI) has extended Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support worth Rs 5,46,500 to Sri Siddendra Yogi Kuchipudi Kala Peetham of Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University to strengthen its educational and cultural infrastructure.
As part of the initiative, SBI handed over various items valued at Rs 5,46,500 to the institution on Monday. The support included five chairs, five tables, two air conditioners, six almirahs, four library almirahs, student tables, 200 Nilkamal chairs, and a Brother printer-cum-scanner.
The items were handed over to the Registrar of Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University and Principal of Sri Siddhendra Yogi Kuchipudi Kala Peetham, M Srinivasa Rao, in the presence of SBI General Managers Kundan Jyoti and Vishal Saxena, DGM and CDO Sushil Kumar Hans, DGM Vijayawada Seetakshi Singh and Kuchipudi Branch Manager Veeranki Jyothi.
The programme began with floral tributes to the statue of Sri Siddendra Yogi, followed by the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. MPA Kuchipudi students later presented the dance performance ‘Mohini Bhasmasura’.”
Vice-Principal Dr Chinta Ravi Balakrishna, Assistant Professor Eleswarapu Srinivasulu, Teaching Assistant Vedantam Venkata Durga Bhavani, Kala Ratna Dr Vedantam Radheshyam, librarian Eleswarapu Venkateswara Phani Kumar and other teaching and non-teaching staff and students attended the event.
