Visakhapatnam: Divya Das, Executive Director and Principal of Greendale School, Visakhapatnam, was conferred the prestigious ‘National School Leader of the Year Award 2026’ by Association of Indian Principals (AIP) at a ceremony held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on Saturday.
The School Leader of the Year 2026 Summit and Awards recognised 101 Principals from across India for their significant contributions to school education and educational leadership. Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, was the chief guest.
The event brought together distinguished principals, educationists and school leaders from across the country to celebrate excellence in educational leadership.
Divya Das’s recognition marks a proud milestone for Ravindra Education Alwardas (READ) Group, which includes Greendale School and Alwardas Public School as constituent institutions.
The award also brings recognition to Visakhapatnam’s educational community and highlights the contribution of its institutions to the broader landscape of Indian school education.
