In an Incident, a staff nurse working at a local government area hospital has attempted suicide at Amalapuram town in East Godavari district on Friday evening.
Amalapuram: In an Incident, a staff nurse working at a local government area hospital has attempted suicide at Amalapuram town in East Godavari district on Friday evening.
Going into details, Nagalakshmi working as a staff nurse at the government hospital has lodged a complaint with the police station alleging that the hospital superintendent is harassing her on Thursday.
Earlier that day, she alleged that a data entry operator working in the same hospital had abused her over which she demanded an apology from him. Later the issue was taken to the hospital superintendent, where justice has not happened. With this, she approached the police.
Nagalakshmi, who was very upset over the incident, attempted suicide by swallowing an overdose of calcium and acidity tablets in the hospital. Immediately, the hospital doctors offered emergency treatment. Now, she is said to be out of danger. On the incident, the police have registered a case and investigating further.
