The Nobel committee announced the winner of Nobel peace prize 2019 on Friday. Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed awarded the prize for his relentless effort to prevail peace between Ethiopia and Eritrea countries. He resolved the two decades of conflict between the two countries.

When Abiy became PM of Ethiopia in 2018, he wished to bring back the lost peace in cooperation with President Isaias Afwerki of Eritrea.

The Nobel committee tweeted, "Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali has been awarded this year's for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation, and in particular for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighbouring Eritrea."

However, Abiy 43 couldn't reach on the phone after his announcement as the Nobel Peace Prize Winner.
