New Delhi: In an incident, an ambulance crashed into a parked truck at DND flyover in Delhi on Friday early morning.

Responding over the incident, Joint Police Commissioner Alok Kumar said that this accident happened at morning 4:30 am when a pregnant woman was shifted from Noida hospital to Safdarjung hospital.

He said Saurabh (2) and nursing staff Sunil Kumar (35) died in the collision. The injured Manu (35), her husband Suresh (25), their daughter (4), and ambulance driver Vipin Kumar shifted to AIIMS for the treatment.

Joint CP said they had received information that a speeding ambulance has collided with the parked truck near Mayur Vihar Police Station at around 4:30 am. Immediately, the police and fire rescue teams reached the spot and rushed the injured to AIIMS.

Alok Kumar said that this accident happened because of the negligence, and rash driving of ambulance driver.
