New Delhi: The central government on Wednesday has taken a major decision for the development of film fields.
The government has approved the formation of the National Film Development Corporation, an organization comprising Films Division, Directorate of Film Festivals, National Film Archives of India and Children's Film Society.
Union Minister Prakash Javadekar gave information about this decision taken in the Union Cabinet. However, he said that all the institutions will continue to function as before.
