Magic of Talent at UPITS 2026: ‘Learn by Doing’ Theme Captivates Visitors

Greater Noida/Lucknow: On the second day of the UP International Trade Show 2026 (UPITS)—an event providing a global platform for Uttar Pradesh’s art, skills, and craftsmanship—the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) pavilion showcased a vibrant display of talent. Designed around the theme ‘Learn by Doing,’ the pavilion offered visitors not only a chance to witness skill demonstrations but also the opportunity to try their hand at these crafts themselves. This year, the pavilion features live demonstrations and interactive activities covering 16 different skills.

Live demonstrations of various skills at the UPSDM pavilion were a major attraction for visitors. From traditional craftsmanship to modern skills, every stall offered something new to see and learn. At the pottery and terracotta stalls, people shaped clay into beautiful art pieces, while at the ‘Chikan’ embroidery stall, visitors tried their hand at intricate needlework.

A highlight of the event was the concept of "See, Understand, and Learn by Doing." DIY activities made the experience even more engaging, with large numbers of people visiting various stalls to practice these arts and skills themselves.

The ‘Skill Stage’ also remained a focal point for youth talent on the second day. Some won the audience's hearts with their singing, while others displayed their creativity in fine arts. Embracing the ‘Hunar’ (Talent) theme, young participants brought their imagination to life on stage through colour. Launched for the first time, this platform aims to connect young people with skills, career opportunities, and creativity, while allowing them to showcase their talent.
