Congress leader and Wayanad MP, Rahul Gandhi tweeted to pose three questions to the Modi government on the first anniversary of the Pulwama attack. He wondered as to who benefited the most from the attack and what the outcome of the inquiry was. The Wayanad MP wished to know whether action had been taken against anyone in the BJP government.
Today as we remember our 40 CRPF martyrs in the #PulwamaAttack , let us ask:

1. Who benefitted the most from the attack?
2. What is the outcome of the inquiry into the attack?
3. Who in the BJP Govt has yet been held accountable for the security lapses that allowed the attack? pic.twitter.com/KZLbdOkLK5
Former Rajya Sabha member of CPI (M) Mohammed Salim remarked that the country does not need a memorial to be reminded of our incompetence. In his tweet, he also wondered as to how such a large quantity of RDX could be smuggled across the international border into India in the most militarised zone.
We dont need a memorial to remind us of our incompetence. The only thing we need to know is how 80kg of RDX got past the international borders to the 'most militarised zone on earth' & exploded in #Pulwama.

Hitting back at Rahul Gandhi, Delhi BJP leader Kapil Mishra in a Twitter post said that such a question could also be posed to him on who benefited the most from the assassinations of former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. His tweet further asked Rahul Gandhi to have some shame:
शर्म करो राहुल गांधी

पूछते हो पुलवामा हमले से किसका फायदा हुआ?
अगर देश ने पूछ लिया कि इंदिरा राजीव की हत्या से किसका फायदा हुआ , फिर क्या बोलोगे?
इतनी घटिया राजनीति मत करो
शर्म करो https://t.co/9C5AsNyMba
Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also slammed the opposition for playing politics on such a solemn occasion. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia criticised Rahul Gandhi in sharp terms and said that the Congress was trivializing the sacrifice of the brave CRPF martyrs.
