Jharsuguda: South Eastern Railway General Manager Anil Kumar Jain conducted a thorough review of the Jharsuguda station premises and yards. He closely evaluated operational workflows, passenger amenities, and security arrangements to ensure optimal service and safety.
The inspection reviewed ongoing development at Jharsuguda station, focusing on adding new train lines and doubling the number of platforms from five to 10. The General Manager inspected safety protocols and operational checks at the Jharsuguda Railway Yard, instructing officials to strictly adhere to safety standards.
During his visit, Anil Jain inspected the window trailing in the Jharsuguda–Sardega section and held detailed discussions with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) officials. The meeting focused on accelerating coal loading to meet the rising demands of power generation facilities. To ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply chain, they discussed strategic measures to streamline the loading system and boost overall transport capacity.
As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan, Anil Jain interacted with students at BNR School, Jharsuguda. During the session, students learned about the vital importance of proper waste segregation, collection, and scientific management.
