Traffic curbs lifted on two-wheelers
Traffic restrictions were relaxed for two-wheelers at Durga temple up to Kummaripalem on the ongoing flyover works from Friday, according to Soma Construction Company.
Vijayawada: Traffic restrictions were relaxed for two-wheelers at Durga temple up to Kummaripalem on the ongoing flyover works from Friday, according to Soma Construction Company.
Highlights:
- Four-wheelers will be allowed from April 1
- Traffic will be allowed through one side of divider when work is in progress
Two-wheelers would be allowed on either side of flyover and from April 1, the cars and other light motor vehicles would be allowed.
The government had directed the Soma Construction Company to complete the construction of flyover and allow the traffic without any restrictions.
Though the construction work of two spans is yet to be completed, the company had allowed traffic seeing the inconvenience faced by two and four-wheelers. After the construction work of two spans were completed, traffic restrictions will be totally lifted from Ashoka Pillar to Kummaripalem.
