CP asks children to enhance greenery in city
Commissioner of police D Gautam Sawang has asked students to grow plants and trees to increase the greenery in the city and the new capital of Amaravati to protect the environment.
Commissioner of police D Gautam Sawang has asked students to grow plants and trees to increase the greenery in the city and the new capital of Amaravati to protect the environment. Sawang visited Nalanda high school on Monday and joyfully spent time with the school children and explained the importance of growing plants and trees.
The commissioner has launched Manam and Vanam and Haritaandhra Pradesh to increase greenery in the state. School staff and environmental experts have conducted a demo on how to save plants and packing of saplings. The city police are actively taking part in Vanam and Manam programmes and Haritandhra Pradesh. Clean and Green environment society president Kodali Subash Chandra Bose and Nalanda school staff participated in the event.
