Speaking on the occasion, he said the Congress leaders were trying to tarnish the image of Modi. They were making baseless allegations to get political mileage. The people were observing the cheap gimmicks of the Congress and ready to teach them a fitting lesson in the ensuing elections.
He advised AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi to control his party leaders. He warned the Congress with serious consequences if the Congress leaders repeat the same.
BJP leaders K Tammaji, Y Shyam, P Anil and scores of party workers were present.
