Protest over neglect of State
Praja Natya Mandali members protested against the Union government in an innovative fashion for the ‘injustice’ done to AP by the NDA government in the Union budget and on Special Category Status to the state here on Thursday.
Vijayawada: Praja Natya Mandali members protested against the Union government in an innovative fashion for the ‘injustice’ done to AP by the NDA government in the Union budget and on Special Category Status to the state here on Thursday.
The Praja Natya Mandali members played a skit in protest against the Union government. They dressed up as political leaders Modi, Chandrababu Naidu and others in an innovative way. CPI city secretary Donepudi Shankar extended support to their protest and blamed the BJP led Modi Government for the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh in all aspects.
He said that as per the bifurcation act, AP was not given Special Category Status which would benefit the state and the people of AP. The much awaited Railway Zone to AP was not given. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP MP could not voice on these issues. He blamed the inefficiency of the TDP for the neglect of the State.
