Guntur: CITU state secretary RV Narasimha Rao warned that they will lay a siege to the Vidyut Soudha in Vijayawada, if the problems of the employees working on the contract basis in the SPDCL are not solved immediately.
He announced that they would chalk out their future course of action to continue agitation till their demands were accepted. He said that they would block the highways on March 10 and observe state bandh on March 12 with the cooperation of the all the political parties. Meanwhile, SPDCL contract employees agitation reached 14th day on Monday. They have been protesting under the banner of Andhra Pradesh Vidyut Contract Karmikula Ikya Vedika.
