Jantar Mantar To Witness Samaikyandhra Protest

It is a known fact that a majority of the public in Andhra Pradesh are unhappy with the Centre’s declaration on Telangana. To Oppose the decision of Centre to divide the state, the Staff of AP State government and Secretariat Employees Forum will begin their protest at Jantar Mantar from Thursday.

The employees reached New Delhi this morning in big numbers. From past two days, all the buses and trains to the nation capital were running full. The protest will go on for two days in which all the employees will participate.

On Thursday, they began their protest by lighting candles. On Friday, they will hold a dharna at the Jantar Mantar said the Forum Chairman Murali Krishna talking to the media. Also YSR congress party honourary president, YS Vijayamma will extend her support to the strike through the participation of her party members who too will join the protest.
