The 9 day brahmotsavam to start from tomorrow
Objecting the Cabinet note on Telangana, the Anti Telangana Protesters have announced a Tirupati bandh on Friday.
The Government Officers Joint Action Committee (GO-JAC) has called for a band where all vehicles have to remain on the roads in and around Tirupathi on Friday and Saturday. It is recalled that the APSRTC employees are already part of the agitation and the corporation is running only minimal fleet with skeletal staff strength.
Pilgrims arriving Tirumala for the Darshan of Lord Venkateswara for the Brahmotsavam may have to face trouble.But with the bandh it will be a tough time and may have serious impact on the pilgrims in more ways than one.
Also Saturday being the Deity’s favorite day a huge rush is obvious,and now the Brahmotsavam (9 days annual event) is also going to commence from tomorrow a very huge number is expected to visit Tirupathi from every nook and corner of our country.
The bandh move comes as an impolite gesture from the RTC as well as the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) managements to the Pilgrims, as the annual nine-day Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara is all set to commence from Saturday at Srivari’s abode.
The daiety's Golden Sedan is wonderfully decored and ready to take a tour into the temple town.The four mada streets are bright and colorful with the beautiful floor paintings, floral decorations and the temple town are curiously waiting for the Lords arrival. The Golden Ratham is set for the conduct of the Brahmotsavams.
On a whole the TTD is putting its best to launch this grand religious carnival where people over india are coming to be part of this magnificent event happening in the temple town. In addition to that TTD has made free prsadam arrangements by giving one laddu, per person who visit tirumala on foot from the first day of the Brahmotsavam.The TTD administration made arrangements for the famous Laddu prasadam for over five lakh as a standby.
Private transport on demand, public request agiatators
With the shutdown the private transport is taking Pilgrims and dropping them at the Tirumala hill taking risk. Also the pilgrims are also approaching the private vehicles to prevent obstruction from the anti Telangana Protesters.
The Piligrims are requetsing the agitators to kindly understand their problems and excempt the bandh at such Piligrim areas.
