Former Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy lashed out at Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for acting unconstitutionally by raking up the issue of division of the state while participating in government sponsored programmes. He said that it was totally against the spirit of the Constitution.
While participating in the third phase of the Rachabanda programme in the town on Saturday along with MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Komatireddy said that it was against the spirit of the Constitution to speak like that in government programmes. He said that it was unbecoming of the Chief Minister to talk like that against the creation of Telangana.
Komatireddy said that the plexis and banners of the Chief Minister should be torn and burnt. Raising slogans like Jai Telangana and “CM Down Down” he appeallead to the people to tear up the banners and flexes on which photo of the Chief Minister was found.
Coming down heavily on the Chief Minster for his ungratefulness to Sonia Gandhi after becoming Chief Minister with her blessing, he said that Kiran Reddy was now behaving like a Chief Minister only for the Andhra region.
