Hyderabad: A 13-year-old boy jumped to death from the fourth floor of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) building around 6 am on Saturday morning. The class VIII student was reportedly suffering from kidney ailments and was undergoing treatment there. According to Panjagutta police, the deceased has been identified as N Mahesh from Karimnagar district. He was admitted to the hospital on November 5.
His father Lingaiah said that he was awake till 5.30 am as a depressed Mahesh, in the last few days, had been threatening to kill him. Mahesh’s family resides in Kannapur village in Shankarapatnam mandal in Karimnagar district. A case of suspicious death has been registered.
