Guntur: Union Minister J D Seelam on Saturday promised to back the State’s division if Hyderabad is made a Union Territory. Addressing a public meeting at Ponnur, after inaugurating an ‘Ambedkar Parivartan’ Bhavan, he described Hyderabad as heart’ (‘gundekaya’) of the State. He objected to the adverse comments
on the Seemandhra Union Ministers made by the government employees during the Samaikyandhra agitation, after forming JACs. He advised them to do their work properly and be available to the people.Seelam did not support the demand being raised for the resignation of the Seemandhra Union Ministers and said they were ever-ready to meet any political problems. He said the ministers would fight for ‘securing justice’ to the people of all regions.
