Kadapa: Police lathicharge women after CPI activists disrupt rachchabanda Program

CPI activists disrupted Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's Rachchabanda program in Kadapa on Tuesday. Police deployed at the site swung into action and resorted to lathicharge to stop the CPI activists from disrupting the CM's programme.

It was learnt that the activists, who demanded ration cards and house sites turned violent thereby diusrupting the proceedings of the Rachchabanda programme in the district.
According to reports, it was also learnt that even women were being lathicharged. The activists accused the police of allowing only congress workers to attend the program, while ignoring other party workers.
In yet another Rachchabanda program attended by MP Anantha Venkatarami Reddy in Ananthapuram, Police lathicharged YSRCP activists for creating chaos. The protesters staged a dharna demanding Anantha’s support for Samaikyandhra.
