Khammam woman suffers acid attack
Tragedy struck Khammam district on Tuesday. A woman became a victim of acid attack on Tuesday morning.
Family disputes could be the reason behind the act, it is learnt. They also allege that it was a planned attack. Knowing that the woman goes to buy groceries from Khammam, the accused Srinivas poured acid on the woman.
The victim was rushed to a nearby government hospital and is undergoing treatment.
As per the complaint given by the victim, a case has been lodged with the local police. The police station was close to the accident spot. The police is in the process of nabbing the accused.
