Mercury level in city may drop to 10o C

Hyderabad: As the cyclone Madi is gradually weakening, rain or thundershowers will occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra and mainly dry weather will prevail in Telgana and Rayalaseema regions. There will be no large change in the weather outlook during the subsequent two days. According to the Met office, Madi lay centred over west central and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal, about 500 km east north-east of Chennai, will weaken gradually and move northwards slowly for 12 hours and then re-curve southwest wards. On Sunday, weather was dry over the State.

The minimum temperatures appreciably fell at a few places in Rayalaseema, Telangana and changed little in coastal Andhra. They were appreciably below normal at many places in Telangana and below normal at one or two places in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. The lowest minimum temperature of 70 Celsius was recorded at Adilabad. Forecast for Hyderabad and its neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 10: Sky will be mainly clear. Fog/mist will occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 29 and 10 degrees Celsius respectively.
