Prez Should Give 20 More Days: Botcha, State Affairs, Telangana Bill. To another question, Botcha said that he had sent his report to the high command against J C Diwakar Reddy. “Soon the PCC disciplinary committee will serve a show cause notice on him,” he said.

Hyderabad: Worried over the possible revolt by Seemandhra MLAs, who might resort to acts which could cause embarrassment when the draft T Bill would be introduced in the State Assembly, PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana on Sunday appealed to them not to resort to anything that would damage the image of the party and the government.
Speaking to media on Sunday, Botcha said that there would be no whip issued by the party and all the MLAs who would like to express their opinion on the draft T Bill can express their views freely, he said, adding that he would like to call upon all the MLAs not to do anything that would cause embarrassment to the Congress party.
He, however, was of the opinion that the President should give another 20 days time in addition to the 40-day timeline he had given to the State government to discuss and return the Bill to him.
A detailed discussion on each and every clause was necessary and hence, the house should not rush through and complete discussion within short time of three or four days as was being demanded by some leaders, he said. Asked to comment about privilege motion given against the AICC general secretary in-charge of State affairs Digvijay Singh by TDP MLAs, he said, it was a publicity stunt.
To another question, Botcha said that he had sent his report to the high command against J C Diwakar Reddy. “Soon the PCC disciplinary committee will serve a show cause notice on him,” he said.
