Hyderabad: The police stopped the Secretariat Seemandhra employees from staging dharna on Secretariat premises and shifted them to Saifabad police station, later they were released.
The employees, led by Seemandhra Secretariat Employees Forum (SSEF), took out a rally opposing the placing of Telangana draft Bill. They raised slogans against UPA and AICC president Sonia Gandhi for dividing the State.
However, the cops asked them to stop their stir because of prohibition orders against stirs and rallies in Secretariat were in place.
As they did not heed, the police arrested the leaders and shifted them to Saifabad police station. Later, they were on bail. SSEF leaders U Murali Krishna, Sujata, Jyothi and K V Krishnaiah were among those who were arrested.
Addressing media persons, SSEF president U Murali Krishna said that the government violated all democratic principles by imposing prohibitory orders against the peaceful agitation.

APNGOs president P Ashok Babu condemned the arrest of Seemandhra employees in Secretariat.
