TJAC ready with suggestions on Bill

Hyderabad: Telangana JAC is ready with its document highlighting amendments required in AP State Reorganisation Bill-2013 for protecting rights of Telangana people besides ensuring justice to the region. This five-page document would be circulated to Telangana legislators irrespective of party lines on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram said that notes prepared by JAC would help legislators to speak with full details when the discussion on draft Bill would be taken up in Assembly.

He laid emphasis on setting up of different High Courts for both States as well as constituting a Telangana Public Service Commission soon after the division of the State. Expressing happiness over introduction of Telangana Bill in the Assembly, Kodandaram congratulated Telangana legislators on the occasion. The document prepared by the TJAC would be in tabular form consisting of Centre’s recommendations, modifications that needed to be made and specific reasons for it.
