India Today confers award to CM Kiran

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy recieved Best Governed State of India 2013 award from India Today Group. CM Kiran recieved this award by Jairam Ramesh .

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is the eighth best Indian chief minister, according to the respondents in survey conducted by the surveryers.

Here is the list of the top ten chief Ministers:

1. In an India Today survey of India's best chief ministers, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi emerged as the clear winner. Modi retained the slot he was holding since January 2011.
2. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar follows Narendra Modi as the best chief minister. Kumar too retians the number two spot since January 2011.
3. On number three spot is Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, a new entrant to the list.
4. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati retains the number four spot which she has been holding since January 2011.
5. The first woman Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee is the fifth best indian chief minister, according to the respondents.
6. Charges of corruption in the CWG seem to have affected Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's image as she slips from third to the sixth spot.
7. On seventh position is Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.
8. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is the eighth best Indian chief minister, according to the respondents.
9. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan slips from the fifth position to the ninth in the list of India's best chief ministers.
10. Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi retains the tenth spot on the list of India's best chief ministers.
