TDP leader hurt as dais collapses
TDP leader hurt as dais collapses, MLA Kinjarapu Acchan Naidu. The dais, on which the leaders were present, collapsed suddenly. Acchan Naidu suffered minor leg injuries in the incident.
Srikakulam: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former MLA Kinjarapu Acchan Naidu had a miraculous escape when the dais on which he was present collapsed here on Sunday.
According to information, the TDP leaders had organised ‘Vanabhojanam’ at Dannanapeta for senior leader Kimidi Kala Venkat Rao and the workers of Etcherla constituency in Ranasthalam mandal.
A large number of TDP leaders, including Srikakulam district TDP in-charge Choudary Babji and Srikakulam TDP Parliamentary constituency in-charge Rammohan Naidu, and a host of workers arrived at the venue.
The dais, on which the leaders were present, collapsed suddenly. Acchan Naidu suffered minor leg injuries in the incident.
Confusion prevailed among the party leaders and workers for some time as there was an increase in his BP levels following the incident. He was immediately rushed to KIMS Hospital for treatment. The party leaders and workers heaved a sigh of relief when the doctors informed them that there was nothing to worry about.
