Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLC Nannapaneni Rajakumari blamed the Congress high command for Telangana region remaining underdeveloped.
Speaking on the AP State Reorganisation Bill, she said the Congress party never allowed their Chief Ministers to remain in office for full term and were kept on tenterhooks. Even chief ministers like K Brahmananda Reddy, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, M Channa Reddy were not allowed to complete their terms.
This had adversely affected the process of development in the region, she said. Criticising the Centre for taking unilateral decision, Rajakumari said bifurcation of the State at this juncture would affect the careers of lakhs of students who were here since the capital city had emerged as the educational hub with job opportunities in IT, Pharma and Bio-technology sectors.
