Hyderabad: Taking a strong objection to the manner in which Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been opposing the State bifurcation while continuing in the office of Chief Minister of the State, the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) on Saturday called upon ministers from the region to take a call whether they would like to work under the ‘Seemandhra CM’, who was misusing power to thwart the process of formation of Telangana State.

TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram told the media on Saturday as far as they are concerned, Telangana region does not have a Chief Minister to look after the aspirations and interests of the people. Replying to a query whether Telangana ministers should resign to topple the government led by Kiran Kumar Reddy, Kodandaram felt that the ball was in Telangana ministers’ court.

TJAC co-chairman Mallepalli Lakshmaiah warned of a serious reaction from the JAC if the Assembly resolution was sent to the Centre or the President flouting constitutional rules.

Meanwhile, TJAC leaders G Deviprasad, C Vittal, Katti Venkataswamy, Addanki Dayaker among others appealed to elected representatives of Telangana to ensure the victory of Rajya Sabha nominee K Keshav Rao, who contributed immensely to the separate state movement.
