New Delhi: The Minister of State for Revenue in the Union cabinet, JD Seelam on Friday addressed the media in New Delhi and said they have put forward as many as 10 proposals – to include few villages from Bhadrachalam and Palvancha divisions in Seemandhra; to include Kurnool and Anantapur in Telangana, to offer a special package to Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra, to make the GHMC area, a union territory; to increase the number of assembly constituencies (225 for Seemandhra and 153 for Telangana), to share Hyderabad revenue equally between the two states for 10yrs, to offer various concessions for Seemandhra development, to continue the common amenities for either states, to facilitate both regions to have equal chances in all institutions.
Further, he said they will not oppose state bifurcation, if all these proposals are considered.
