On one side Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is sending feelers that he will quit his CM post tomorrow, on the other side PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana is saying quitting now may not serve any purpose.

In a veiled response to CM, Botsa said that all the Seemandhra leaders including the CM should have resigned the day CWC announced its decision. Though he (Botsa) had proposed the resignation idea after the CWC verdict on July 30 last year, no one accepted it, he added.

What is the point of resigning when the elections are round the corner, he questioned. It is wrong to resign from the posts for personal and electoral gains, Botsa stated. He maintained that Kiran will not float a new party and even if he does nobody will join.

He reportedly remarked that no person with common sense will resign at this juncture.

Interestingly, he also said that one particular social group is trying to kill the Congress party in the state. (CM Kiran in chit-chat: Tomorrow is last day)
