In his vehement attack against the Congress party for dividing Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that INC now stands for Italian National Congress.
Speaking at the Jantar Mantar, where thousands of activists from his party staged a dharna in support of Samaikyandhra, Jagan said that even the British rule was better than the present UPA rule. "The British didn't do what Sonia Gandhi did to my state. Democracy has been murdered. Someone who understands India would never do this. Whatever they're doing is for votes. None can save Congress. The party will not even get one state."
The Kadapa MP also reiterated that he is willing to support Narendra Modi. "I am willing to support anybody... Why should Modi be an exemption? Anybody who is willing to keep my state united," he asserted.
When asked about the chaos in Parliament, Jagan said: "Lagadapati Rajagopal is helped by Congress, whatever he did in Parliament he did at the behest of Congress."
