Venkaiah Naidu: Telangana realised with BJP’s support, Venkaiah Naidu, Formation of Telangana. Venkaiah Naidu, the Senior Leader of Bharatiya Janata party on Fridaysaid that BJP has extended unmitigated support for the formation of Telangana.
New Delhi: Venkaiah Naidu, the Senior Leader of Bharatiya Janata party on Fridaysaid that BJP has extended unmitigated support for the formation of Telangana. He addressed the media at New Delhi and said if Congress Party had acquiescence, they might have carved Telangana in 2004 itself.
Naidu said if Congress Party would have not delayed the process of formation of Telangana there might have not been so many suicides for the very cause. He said the Congress Party hastened up the process as BJP had given the statement that they would give Telangana within 100 days of their empowerment. Further, he said he was the first person to demand Hyderabad to be the part of Telangana.
He said BJP is a reliable party and have supported the Telangana cause since beginning. He said without their support in either house, Telangana could have not been realised today. He said it was due to their hard work, Seemandhra got better package. The congress Party has been proliferating flimsy issues in either region with altered versions. At his residence, the state BJP president Kishan Reddy and other party MLA Yennam Lakshmi Narayana called on him.
