Reservations for Chandrababu’s cabinet posts begin

Hyderabad: While all is set ready for Chandrababu Naidu to become the first Chief Minister of residual Andhra Pradesh, attempts have already begun for the confirmation of reservations by the aspirants of the cabinet positions in the Naidu’s cabinet. According to sources, Ghanta Srinivasa Rao, the former minister in the state cabinet and Bheemili Telugu Desam Party MLA, has revealed the thought hidden in the corner of his mind. He disclosed that he would like to assume the post of Deputy Chief Minister, added sources. Otherwise, mentioned sources that Ghanta would remain as a common activist.

From the other end, the political clashes between Ghanta Srinivasa Rao and Ayyanapathrudu have reached their tallness. Both have won the polls and both eye for crucial positions in the Naidu’s cabinet. Their wordy duel reached its top by now. It is learnt that Chandrababu meddled in between to calm down the duo.

It is worth mentioning here that Ghanta initially joined PRP, after quitting TDP in 2009 and later became the minister in Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet when PRP merged in Congress Party. However, just before the 2014 general elections, he re-joined TDP which was strongly opposed by Ayyannapathrudu. He even decided to quit the party if Ghanta remains the party. However, he was pacified by Naidu to keep calm. Now, both of them eye for cabinet and crucial posts. Who would succeed is a matter in the court of time. Let’s wait and see!!
