Gopal, the executive officer (EO) of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, inspected the new three-layered queue system introduced to provide comfortable darshan to devotees, inside the shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala in Tirupathi. The EO spent almost eight hours observing the pros and cons of the new system of darshan. TTD JEO K.S. Sreenivasa Raju, additional CVSO T. Siva Kumar Reddy and other TTD officials accompanied the EO during the inspections.

Vigilance authorities at Tirumala have been instructed by the EO to record the pilgrim darshan report on an hourly basis to check whether the new system was effective. As part of the three layer darshan, the engineering officials have set up wooden platforms at different heights to form three layers in order to provide hassle free darshan to the pilgrims.

According to sources, most of the pilgrims expressed contentment about the new arrangement and said that it helped them have a better darshan.
