New Delhi: All set ready for Telugu Desam Party Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu to swear-in as the Chief Minister of residuary Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra) at 7.57 pm on June 8. According to sources he has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the ceremony. During his meeting with Narendra Modi on Friday, the former invited Modi for the swearing-in ceremony for which the Prime Minister reportedly gave a nod.

Apart from Narendra modi, Naidu has also invited all the Union ministers whom he met in Delhi on Friday for the swearing-in ceremony to be held in Guntur.

While addressing the media, Naidu said that he would take oath at 7.57 pm on June 8. He further said that he had invited the Prime Minister for the occasion. Nevertheless, it was not clear whether Modi would participate in the ceremony or not.

Further, Naidu said that he would invite non-Congress Chief Ministers for the ceremony, but was reserved when asked whether his Telangana counterpart K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) would be invited. He said till then he had not decided on the matter of inviting KCR for the ceremony. Nevertheless, he didn’t deny the chances of inviting KCR.
